Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、大学英語教育におけるCAN-DOリスト活用の諸過程を、自己調整学習に基づいて理論的に検証することにより、日本人英語学習者が英語学習における自律学習を促進させるための要因を特定し、Readingに関する自律学習のメカニズムを解明する。本研究は、世界的な競争力をつけるための大学英語教育には必要不可欠な要素であるCAN-DOリストの作成・活用・評価という循環的な活用サイクルに着目する。基礎研究において理論と統計に基づいて“I CAN” List達成要因を学習者の観点から特定後、応用研究において申請者による様々な教育実践の有効性も検証した上で、メカニズムを解明する。
