Outline of Research at the Start

昨今の教育では学習者の主体性が重視され、学習者が自ら学習にエンゲージできるようにする方略が注目されている。外国語教育の分野ではマーサーとドルニェイが2020年に外国語学習者のエンゲージメントの喚起と維持を巡る理論と教師の行動を世界で初めて構造化した。だが、原理、理論、実践の各面において最低限乗り越えておくべき課題がある。エンゲージメントの要素、授業方法、学習者観の共通理解、教室という概念である。これらは、学習者エンゲージメントへの注目度が高ければ高いほど、できる限り早く乗り越えるべき喫緊の課題である。エンゲージメントの課題は海外の教育にも言えるため、本研究を通して国際的に貢献する。
