Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、多様な英語発音に対する学習者のリスニング適応力を向上させる方法を検討する。はじめに、留学中の大学生の世界諸英語インタラクション経験についての実態調査を行うことにより、どの地域出身の英語話者の発音を優先的に取り上げるかを決める。その上で、1) 世界諸英語音源の収録および音声特徴の分析、2) シャドーイングによる世界諸英語リスニング訓練およびスコア蓄積、3) TOEIC, Versant テストによるシャドーイング参加者の英語習熟度測定 を行う。これら3つの指標の関係を探ることにより、どのような学習者にどのような英語のリスニング素材を提供することが適切かの判断材料とする。
