Outline of Research at the Start

現代黒海地域をめぐる国際関係の歴史的出発点と見なし得る、18世紀後半の黒海に注目し、ロシアの黒海地域進出がオスマン帝国や西欧諸国の黒海政策に与えた影響、黒海と黒海地域をめぐり繰り広げられた関係諸国の外交活動、そして、その結果構築されていった国際関係の全体像などを明らかにする。特に、オスマン帝国を含むヨーロッパ国際関係の大きな転機である1768年ロシア・オスマン戦争と1774年キュチュク・カイナルジャ条約の意義と影響を中心に研究を進める。
