Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、メディアと象徴天皇制の関係性を、具体的な史料群の調査・分析を通じて明らかにし、より新しい象徴天皇制論を構築することにある。メディアは象徴天皇制をどのように伝えてきたのか。一方、天皇・宮中側はどのような意図をもってメディアと協同していったのか。メディアと象徴天皇制の関係について、歴史的な過程から現在に至るプロセスをより詳細に明らかにする。そして、現代の天皇制について考察する手がかりとしたい。
