Outline of Research at the Start

中近世移行期の禅宗寺院におけるあらたな知識の獲得を示す史料、具体的には鎌倉五山建長寺塔頭の蔵書形成を示す史料群(秩父金仙寺所蔵典籍)の調査を通じて、近世初頭における明版(嘉興蔵)一切経の輸入と「覆五山版」漢籍の刊行という二つの営みを検討することにより、遡って中世には不在であった知識、あるいはアクセスが困難であった知識の様相を明らかにし、当該期の知識のあり方の変容を考察する。
