Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、板津家文書（岡山藩の家老日置家の家老板津家の文書）の整理作業を中心にすえ、目録作成を行い、史料の公開と保存に資する。また前科研で調査を行った水河家文書（備前国津高郡河内村富谷の名主家文書）の目録も刊行し、公開につなげる。さらに両文書の分析を通して、①日置家の陣屋町金川村と河内村富谷の村落構造をそれぞれ村内の諸関係に注目しながら把握・解明する。その上で、②陣屋町とその周辺村の社会的・経済的関係を分析し、金川を中心とする地域社会〈地帯構造〉を実態的に把握する。これらを通して、③個別村の分析から藩領社会の特質を解明する方法を提起することを目的とする。
