Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、第一次世界大戦前から戦間期にかけて、アメリカ合衆国、イギリス及び日本の女性達が、国際的な平和運動を通じた政治参加の試みの中で、民族自決と反植民地主義をどのように捉え、いかに包摂と排除を経験あるいは実践したかを、人種、国家、民族、エスニシティ、ジェンダーの観点から明らかにする。具体的には、最大の国際女性平和組織「恒久平和のための女性国際委員会」(ICWPP)及びその後継の「婦人国際平和自由連盟」(WILPF)について、上記三カ国を中心に、その指導部の女性達だけでなく、人種や民族的マイノリティの会員も含めて比較調査する。
