Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、啓蒙専制君主ヨーゼフ2世の「寛容令」を、17世紀末以来のハプスブルク君主国における諸教会の社団的再編の到達点と位置づけ、この間の①君主と主要教会の関係構築と、②各教会内部の組織変容の実態を明らかにする。事例研究の対象地は、君主国の東半にあたるハンガリーとトランシルヴァニアとする。18世紀の複合国家再編の動きに際し、これら教会が中央・地方の統治にいかに適応を試みたかを明らかにし、宗教・思想史的文脈やヨーゼフの個人的政治志向から考察されがちだった「寛容令」を、18世紀ハプスブルク君主国の統治改革のダイナミズムに位置づけることが本研究の狙いである。
