Outline of Research at the Start

採鉱・製錬・鋳造といった金属器を得るまでの活動、すなわち冶金活動は歴史上、各地域・各時代の人間社会の在り方と強く結びついてきた。本研究は、カザフスタン東部の後期青銅器時代の鉱山-銅生産遺跡の発掘調査を行い、その成果を基軸として、ユーラシア草原地帯中部の後期青銅器時代の冶金体系モデルを提示し、その冶金体系の中でカザフスタン東部が果たした役割を明らかにする。そしてその背景にあった社会構造や流通システムについて検討する。
