Outline of Research at the Start	ジャン=バティスト・ラスュ（1807-1857）およびヴィオレ・ル・デュク（1814-1879）の協働による修復プロジェクトにおいて行われた保存・修復に関する議論の内容と、そこから見出される今日的な建造物の保存・修復プロジェクトに援用可能な修復理論を明らかにする。フランスでの保存・修復概念萌芽期において、中世建築の修復の際にこの二人の建築家の間、およびその周囲でどのような議論があったのかを整理し、その議論から得られる、今日的な建造物の保存・修復プロジェクトを考えるうえで有用な知見を見出す。
