Outline of Research at the Start	現在、文化財の微生物汚染・劣化を生物学、物理化学の両面から詳細に評価することが求められた場合、複数の分野にわたる多数の専門的な分析調査が必要となる。しかし、そこにかかる労力・時間・コストを考慮すると、ごく特殊な状況を除き、その実施は現実的ではない。また、微量とはいえ試料の採取や接触が必要となる手法も多い。そこで本研究においては、文化財表面における微生物の分布範囲や密度、生理活性の状態、さらには文化財自体の劣化状態（微細なひび割れや素材の強度低下など）をハイパースペクトル撮影とイメージング解析のみにより、完全な非接触・非破壊の条件で、精密・迅速・広範に評価するための新しい技術基盤の形成をめざす。
