Outline of Research at the Start	本研究の目的は、博物館における既存の文化財防災手法の効果向上を図ることにある。阪神・淡路大震災以降、博物館における耐震対策としてテグスや免震台の有用性、S字形フックの効果等は浸透してきている。しかし、例えば、テグスの効果的な設置方法に関する研究はこれまでになく、特に中小規模の博物館では、学芸員個々人の経験による「職人的」手法で設置されているのが実態である。そのため、中には効果の薄い設置方法も散見される。このような状況に鑑み、本研究では、耐震対策を中心として、博物館における既存の文化財防災手法に対して実験的、定量的な分析を行い、既存手法の効果向上を図る。
