Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、道路や航路などのインフラストラクチャーに着目した、ケア制度の空間的再編に関する人類学的研究である。フィンランド南西部群島地域を舞台として、ケアサービスを届ける土台としてのインフラストラクチャーが、人々が公的ケアを受給できるか否かをめぐる選抜や、公平性をめぐる政治にいかなる影響を及ぼしているのか、どのようにケアの公的制度／私的実践の境界を形作るのかを明らかにする。社会構造を形作るインフラとしての道路交通が高齢者ケア制度と関わる局面について幅広く探求していくことで、北欧型福祉国家の変容を物質的基盤の次元から理解していくことが本研究の目的である。
