Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、日本社会における民俗的色彩としての青色のブルー化という現象を、民俗学・文化人類学的な視点から考察し、その変化と背景を明らかにするものである。日本社会における赤、青、白、黒という色彩は、基本的な民俗色彩語彙（表現）であり、日本語の中でも色自体が形容詞化するものとして現在でも日常的に使用されている。このうち民俗的色彩としての青（あお）色は緑色（GY）から紫色（PB）の領域を含むが、20世紀から21世紀にかけて青色のブルー化が顕著になっている現状がある。この現象がどの範囲にまで及び、どのような背景のもとに起きているかということを明らかにする。
