本研究は、ヨーロッパ諸地域のジプシー、ロマ、移動生活者共同体を対象にキリスト教復興運動を調査研究する。フランスのジプシー／移動生活者共同体におけるペンテコステ派とカトリックの実践の特徴及びその変容を追うと同時に、ルーマニアをはじめとする東欧やスペインのジプシー／ロマ共同体のキリスト教信仰の動態を調べ、比較検討することで、ヨーロッパのマイノリティがキリスト教を通して再編するアイデンティティと共同体の様態を明らかにする。
