Outline of Research at the Start	本研究の目的は、①政治的権威・政治的責務・正統性といった基礎概念を明確化にして、その相互関係を整理した上で、②現代民主制論の研究蓄積と接合することによって、③決定手続の正統性条件を検討することである。本研究は、核心的な学術的問いを「ある権威的決定が正統性を持ち、その権威的決定に従う理由が人々にあるといえるために、その決定手続はいかなる条件を充足することが必要か」と定式化した上で、基礎概念の明確化を行う。その上で、民主制正当化論の二大潮流である道具主義と手続主義を、権威論の議論蓄積と接合することで、権威的決定が正統性を持つために決定手続が備えるべき条件を探究していく。
