法科大学院における民法科目の教育に不可欠な判例につき、法学部での教育との分担関係を考慮しつつ、どういう獲得目標を設定し、どういう形で教材として選択し、どういう点に工夫をして教えているのかについて、共通認識を得るため、その素材として全国の法科大学院から広く教材を集めて整理・分析し、議論の基礎資料を作る。
基礎資料を下に、教える側と教わる側に意見を聞く機会を設け、それらを整理・検討して、現状と問題点を具体的に明らかにする。
議論の成果は教材の改訂に反映させ、集めた資料と共に公開して今後の議論の素材を提供する。
