Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、メタバース空間に物品が映り込む状況につき、当該物品のデザインにかかる意匠権者が差し止める可能性をどこまで認めるかという点を中心に検討する。既存の意匠権をデジタル画像に行使できるとの考え方は、現在の日本では採用されていないが、できれば新規立法なしに考えられる策を志向したい。イギリス法等を参考に、登録意匠の物品の外観のデジタル「使用」を既存の意匠権の権利範囲に含むとする解釈論の定立と、その問題指摘（とできればその解消策）を模索する。
