Outline of Research at the Start	政治史・歴史学の視点だけに留まらずに、政治・経済・官僚制など、戦時期を多面的に観察することで従来の敗戦＝失敗の時期という単純化とは異なる政治的歴史的構図を示そうと本研究やその前提となるこれまでの研究では試みてきた。現代日本や近代日本の説明構図を変容させる可能性を社会及び国民に研究の成果として提供できることを期待している。
