Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の問いは、「大国間の競争と気候変動規範の形成にどのような関係があるのか」である。大国間の競争によって既存の規範が損なわれる中で、大国間競争の結果生じた新たな規範がどのように形成され、如何なるメカニズムの中で発展してきたのかを検討する。本研究では、国際関係学とサステナビリティ学という二つの異なる分野を組み合わせることで、従来の地政学的安全保障戦略に基づく米中両国間の対立が、国連を中心とした多国間外交の代表的な課題である気候変動規範の形成において、どのような影響を与えているかについて調査する。
