Outline of Research at the Start

戦後日本の出発点といえる対日講和条約および旧日米安保条約を扱う研究は多いが、両条約の関係性は十分に論じられてこなかった。本研究は、①なぜ両条約に核兵器関連の規制が一切存在しない寛大な条約となったのか、②講和後の日本の核化リスクを、講和条約の主要策定国である米英両国はどのように評価し、万が一の事態にいかなる対応を計画していたのかといった観点から考察することで、両条約の関係性と、戦後日本に課せられた責務の解明を目指すものである。
