Outline of Research at the Start

政策課題に対して直接、市民が討議を行い投票を通じて意志決定をする民主主義の形態である「熟議民主主義」を有効に機能させるための具体的な投票制度のデザインについて、数理経済学の形式論理学的な手法を用いて検討する。①討議を通した意見の変化を投票制度にどう反映するか、②投票の議題の順序の望ましい組み立て方、③人々の価値観の多様性は投票制度が討議への参加意欲に与える影響をどう変えるか、④公平性を重視して保育園などの限られた枠を割り振ると何が起こるか、という４つの問題に取り組む。
