Outline of Research at the Start

EU発の循環経済(CE)の考え方は先進諸国を中心に広く浸透しつつある。同時に、2050年のカーボンニュートラル(CN)達成は避けて通れない目標となっているが、一定の閾値を超えてからは、CNとCEにはトレードオフの関係がある。CEとCNの両立には耐久消費財の長期使用が効果的であるが、これまでの耐久消費財に関する研究の中ではCNとCEのバランスの視点を考慮したものはほとんどない。こうした状況を考慮しつつ、長期使用を促す政策のあり方について経済理論及び実証的な方法により検討する。
