Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では川上企業と川下企業が同時に存在する市場（垂直的市場）における共通株主の競争への影響について分析する。垂直的市場を分析対象とする理由は，取引関係にある企業の株が所有された場合に価格低下効果が生じるため，共通株主の競争緩和効果と価格低下効果のいずれが支配的か自明でないためである。本研究の枠組みは，The Vanguard Group, Inc. が Google および Samsung の株式を保有しているスマートフォン製造産業など社会的な影響の強い産業に適応することができる。本研究では共通株主の影響を分析し，どのような産業において共通株主を認めるべきかの指針を提示することを目指す。
