Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、環境汚染が発生する中間財部門と最終財部門をどちらも輸入している状況において、それぞれの部門に対する最適な関税がどのような水準に決定するかを研究する。一般的には、最終財の関税率が高くなることがわかっているが、環境汚染を考慮に入れた場合にどのような影響を与えるのかを分析する。さらには、関税を利用した環境問題への規制が、1国のみで取り組むべきなのか世界全体で取り組むべきなのかについても分析する。これらに加えて、関税の引下げが環境税やその他の環境規制に与える影響についても分析する。
