Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では，(A)政策競争と(B)政策協調の視点から，財政連邦主義と環境政策について検討を行う．
(A)は，各国・地域が非協調的に自らの厚生のみを考慮して政策決定を行う場合に発生する問題を検討するものである．他国・地域への影響を無視した政策は，しばしば経済効率性の問題を生み出す．環境問題に焦点を当てて，これらの非効率性の発生要因とその影響を考察する．
(B)は，非協調的な政策決定がもたらす経済効率性上の問題等を克服するための政策協調のあり方を検討するものである．各国・地域による政策協調の経済効果や，持続的可能な協調のあり方等を環境問題の視点から考察することが具体的な研究課題である．
