Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、学校教育において、歴史や伝統が進学先選び（個人の選好）に影響を与えるのかどうかについて検証する。これまでの研究では豊橋学校群第1群を対象としていたが、本研究では、新たに伝統校×新設校の組み合わせで学校群を組んでいた愛知や三重の3つの学校群に関する資料を入手することによって、より精緻な分析を行う。また伝統校の特徴を明らかにし、伝統校×新設校と比較するために、伝統校×伝統校の組み合わせの学校群についても資料を収集する。本研究は学校群制度という自然実験のデータを収集し、歴史や伝統が教育の成果に与える影響について明らかにすることで、非常に貢献度の高い成果を得られると期待できる。
