Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、両大戦間期にハンブルク・アメリカ郵船株式会社（Hapag）が展開させた海上ツーリズムの実態を、その拠点都市ハンブルクとの関係を射程に収めつつ考察し、ナチスの歓喜力行団（KdF）に対して商業ツーリズムが果たした役割を明らかにすることを通じて、全体主義的余暇モデルが展開され得たことの要因と、その社会経済史的意義を実証的に解明する。研究を進めるにあたり、KdFとツーリズム企業のみならず、関係する中央の諸官庁や都市政府などの諸アクターの重層的な相互関係によって構築された余暇のあり方を全体主義的余暇ガバナンスとして定義し、分析視角に用いる。
