Outline of Research at the Start

本課題は戦前期労働市場の全体像を解明すべく、その一端として学卒者（高等教育修了者）の職業経歴に注目する。具体期には神戸高商（現在の神戸大学）を中心にしつつ東京高商や名古屋高工など旧制専門学校を題材に、毎年刊行された『学校一覧』から卒業生の職歴パネルデータを作成する。対象時期は明治末年から第２次世界大戦直前の昭和12（1937）年まで最大30年間、総数で３千名に達すると予測される。併せて『校友会誌』などから卒業生たちの就業意識を探りたい。本課題は経済史と社会学の研究者がチームを形成し、異なる領域の研究者の交流や協同を通じて、新たな問題意識や分析手法が生まれることを期待したい。
