Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、沖縄的社会規範の形成と再生産を、（1）所有権の解体と再編成、（2）日常的合理性による選択と調整の蓄積、という2点から理論化することである。
沖縄におけるインフォーマルな結合にもとづく社会構造が、どのようにして歴史的に構築されてきたのかを、統計データや歴史的資料、行政文書、新聞記事なども用いながら、個人の生活史データを大量に用いて、あくまでも社会学的なレベルで説明する。また、本研究では、諸個人の広い意味での日常的合理性に着目することで、沖縄の社会的規範の形成と維持と変容だけでなく、個人史と「歴史と構造」とを架橋する一般的な社会学的方法論の彫琢をも目指されている。
