障害者を含むすべての人にすべての人権を確保することは、持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）が目指す、平等そして平和でインクルーシブな社会を実現する取り組みにおいて不可欠である。その普遍的な人権確保のための変革に向けて中国（香港を含む）、韓国、日本、台湾、北朝鮮を含む東アジアにおける障害者権利条約の実施過程への障害者組織を含む市民社会の関与の実態と課題を、障壁の除去を重視する障害学を通じて明らかにする。
