Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、人びとの間で社会的階層地位がどのようなものとしてイメージされているのかを明らかにする。そのうえで人びとの間で間主観的に形成された社会的階層地位と、統計的に特定される客観的な社会的階層地位とがどのように異なり、そしてどの点で一致しているのかを解明する。客観的に特定される社会的階層地位は、科学的な厳密性をもつ一方で、人びとの実感から乖離していることが少なくない。そのことが、社会的不平等に対する問題の解決を難しくする場面を想起できる。本研究は、そのような困難の解決に寄与することを目的としている。
