Outline of Research at the Start	A・ギデンズはモダニティの特徴として「専門家システム」の発展を挙げるが，私たちの生活は専門家システムへの依存なくしては成り立たない．他方で，専門家システムに対する人びとの信頼を揺るがせるような出来事がみられ，システムが機能不全に陥りかねない状況にある．それへの対処として，こうした状況をより経験的に把握し，システム信頼のメカニズムを具体的に解明する必要がある．そこで本研究は，人びとが専門家システムに対して，どの程度の信頼を有しているのかを，社会調査によって実証的に明らかにし，そこから現代社会における専門家システムの脆弱性について分析し，専門家システムのレジリエンスを高める条件について検討する．
