Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、戦後日本における「父親の子育て」言説と母性愛神話との関連、その歴史的変遷を明らかにする。「父親の子育て」は少子化対策の重要課題であり、政策やメディアはイクメンを積極的に推奨している。しかし、父親に「母親と同様に子育てする親」であることを期待しない一方で、母親には主な子育て責任を負わせ続けるなど、性別役割分業は根強く変化していない。本研究では、男性学／女性学両方の研究成果を活かして考察することで、日本社会において、性別役割分業が根強く変化しない要因を明らかにする。そして「親の子育てについてのジェンダー論」の確立を目指し、今後の子育てとジェンダー規範研究に新たな視点を提供する。
