Outline of Research at the Start

本研究ではアイヌ集住地域で暮らす女性たちについて、①アイヌの祖先を持ちその血筋にある女性を“アイヌ女性”、②アイヌ男性との結婚によってアイヌ社会に入ることになった和人配偶者を“和人女性”と定義する。
その上で第１に、アイヌ女性がジェンダーやエスニシティ、あるいはその他の属性理由によって被ってきた複合的な差別の検討を行う。第２に、和人女性を対象として、家族の中では本人だけがアイヌの血筋ではないという意味でマイノリティとなる彼女たちの苦悩や被差別経験を分析し、これらを通じてアイヌ社会に特徴的な構造について明らかにする。
