Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、原子力事業者に対して一定の発言権と決定権を行使するコミュニティの存続条件についての実証的解明をつうじて、原子力開発利用問題をめぐる社会学的解決論において政策転換論と併置すべき新たな解決論としての「生活の場の再創造論」を彫琢することを目指す。この研究の対象は、茨城県東海村の核燃料加工会社「JCO」による低レベル放射性廃棄物の焼却設備設置をめぐる紛争過程で、JCOに近接する４つの地域自治会を基盤に住民主導で形成されたコミュニティや、東海村以外の立地点において原子力施設が惹起する問題群に対処するコミュニティである。
