Outline of Research at the Start	わが国の虐待防止は、年齢と対象属性が分断された活動であり、虐待が生じてから介入する事後的な対応を主としている。そのため本質的な虐待予防は困難であることをこれまでの研究・活動において認識してきた。そこで、本研究では、「高齢者虐待発生のリスクファクター」並びに「虐待発生前の介入ポイント」を明らかにした上で、「年齢横断的・対象横断的虐待発生予防」の視点で、「虐待の本質的予防」を可能とするマニュアル（研修プログラム）作成を行う。本プログラムは、支援専門職あるいは市町村職員などが利用することで、虐待発生予防につながる。
