Outline of Research at the Start

「健康寿命」の延伸は高齢者の生活の質と、社会保障制度の安定に極めて重要であるが、我が国の課題は「平均寿命」と「健康寿命」の差が大きいことと、「健康寿命の地域差」が大きいことである。
本研究は健康寿命優等生の山梨県・静岡県を対象に、地域の特性や社会関係資本に注目することを前提にして、県内の主な地域の高齢者地域活動・健康づくりに関する組織・団体を訪問し、先の要因に関する質的量的データを集め、地域福祉・高齢者福祉に注意を払いながら各地域の活動特性と強み、課題を抽出する。そこから、健康寿命延伸に寄与する地域の在り方や社会関係資本を示唆することを通じて、高齢者の生活の質と社会保障制度の一助を目指す。
