Outline of Research at the Start	「健康に良い食事」への関心が高まっている。脂質は悪いものと思われがちだが、実は細胞膜を通り抜けて細胞に入りやすく、炎症を抑え、免疫系を調節するという重要な役割も持つ。これまで、信州大学医学部と共同で開発したヒト胆石モデルマウスの肝臓の脂質分析や脂質代謝に関与する遺伝子発現解析を実施してきた。その結果、胆石発症マウス群では、コレステロール代謝関連遺伝子の顕著な変化だけでなく、一見無関係に見えるスフィンゴ糖脂質の分子種にも連動する変化を認め、胆石発症と関連している可能性を見出した。本研究では、胆石発症機構の解明を進め、食事から摂取する脂質バランスを明らかにすることを目的とする。
