Outline of Research at the Start	リンパ浮腫の治療に用いられている弾性着衣は、伸縮性に優れたポリウレタン繊維が含まれるニット製品で、主にドイツからの輸入品と日本製のものが治療に用いられている。ドイツからの輸入品の場合はドイツの製品認証規格（RAL規格）に基づいて製造されているが、日本製の場合は日本に規格がなく、製品の中にはRAL規格の基準を満たさないものも出回っているため、国内でも規格化を行い、製品の品質を安定的に確保することが望まれている。本研究は、弾性着衣の日本規格化に向けて、耐久性の要因のひとつであるニット構造の変形と性能劣化の関係に着目し、被服材料学、被服環境学および消費科学から多角的に基礎検討を行う。
