Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、自治体が発行する祖父母ガイドや祖父母手帳等を通して、大衆長寿・少子社会における中高年期の祖父母世代に対する「孫育て」への社会的期待を批判的に検討することを目的とする。具体的には、2010年以降自治体で発行されている「祖父母ガイドブック」「祖父母手帳」および2020年開発の「祖父母になるアプリ」等の分析を通して、①新たに求められる「祖父母像」とは何か、②親世代ならびに社会からどのような期待が込められているのか、③中高年期の生きがいに寄与するのかを実証的に明らかにする。さらに祖父母世代と親世代双方の「孫育て(子育て)」をめぐる世代間の葛藤と連帯の可能性について検証する。
