Outline of Research at the Start

中枢神経で作用する遺伝子は、BMI、肥満関連疾患に非常に強く影響する。これまでの研究で解析されてきた既知の遺伝子は各組織・臓器で働き、エネルギー代謝、糖・脂質代謝などに直接的に影響することが判明しているが、近年の大規模解析から報告されている遺伝子は中枢神経で働き、行動嗜好性（食行動の嗜好性や運動行動の嗜好性）に影響する可能性が強い。これらの遺伝子因子の影響を評価することで、行動嗜好性を考慮した、排除可能とした生活の提案が可能になる。
