Outline of Research at the Start	日本は現在、肥満と若年女性のやせの問題を抱えており、二極化が生じている。さらに、野菜摂取不足も改善がみられず、食物繊維やミネラルの不足が続いている。一方、多忙な毎日を送る中で、食事改善に割く労力・気力・時間も不足している。そこで、本研究は、これらを毎日少しずつ改善するための食器へのアプローチを行う。そのために、色彩と錯視を融合させ、目の錯覚を利用して食事量のコントロールを試みる。具体的には、皿の色と形を変化させ、錯視によって生じる食事量の増減を数値化し、蓄積することで有用な器を開発・検証する。有用性を検討するために実証実験を行い、おいしさと満足度を損なわずに食事量の調整ができる方法を考察する。
