Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、日本各地の美術大学や美術予備校を研究対象として、応募者がこれまで手掛けてきた首都圏の美術教育と、地方都市の美術教育との比較分析を行う。とくに、20世紀後半の地方都市における公立・私立の美術大学の爆発的な増加と、2010年代以降の少子化や教育の商業主義化という社会の推移に伴って、大学における美術教育がどのように変化してきたのかを、歴史的に分析する。
