Outline of Research at the Start	学校教育を取り巻く環境変化を背景に、養成段階のみならず任用後も含めた校長の継続的な力量形成を支援することは、今やグローバルな学術的・実践的課題である。特に校長らの日常的な業務に寄り添った支援を重視する点に現代的特徴を見出すことができ、アメリカにおける校長指導職（principal supervisor）への役割期待と支援実践の転換はその好例である。翻って、日本ではそのような学術的・実践的関心や具体的な取り組みが未だ十分でない。本研究は、アメリカでの事例調査を実施するとともに、校長の継続的力量形成支援に関する諸外国での動向も合わせて比較検討しながら、日本で実施可能な具体的モデルの提示を目指す。
