Outline of Research at the Start	本研究の目的は、多文化主義を国是とし、多様な背景を持つ人々が集うオーストラリアで、近年の技術移民の保護者が、どのように既存のサービスや資源、情報、ネットワーク等を活用し、子育ておよび学校教育に携わってきたのかを、行政や移民の同国人組織等が提供する定住支援の全体像とともに明らかにすることである。それにより、世界的課題である格差の是正・縮小に果たす人的・社会的つながりの創出とそのために有効な支援のあり方を考える。具体的には、定住支援に関する政策展開・現状や制度を網羅的に把握・整理した後、移民の教育戦略や資源・情報の活用等を、規模の異なる複数都市で、保護者に対するインタビュー調査から明らかにする。
