Outline of Research at the Start

研究代表者が2009年以降、科研費の支援を得て継続してきた各研究課題は、第二次世界大戦後の占領下にある日本と琉球において大学・学校が地域社会とどのような有機的関係を構築し、その関係のもとで教育・研究と地域の産業・生活の双方をいかに改善しようとしてきたかが主題であった。本研究ではこれまでの研究で課題として残された、上記主題に関する占領側の改革構想の形成過程の解明と、日本・琉球に加えて韓国を比較の対象とすることで、旧大日本帝国施政下にあった各地域のうち米国占領下で教育改革が行われた地域を網羅し、改革構想の異同と受容・定着の実態をより深く理解しようとするものである。
