Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は日本最初の放射線技師養成機関である島津レントゲン技術講習所に淵源にもつ京都医療科学大学をはじめ、主要大学（旧帝大・旧六医科大・慶大・順天大等）や地域医療の拠点となった国立病院や日本赤十字病院、そして日本診療放射線技師会とその各支部等の所蔵史料の調査分析や関係者らへの聞き取り調査を通し、大学史・科学技術史・放射線技師教育・放射線技術学を専門とする研究者による統合的研究を推進することより、日本の放射線技術の発達と医療現場への導入・普及の歴史（地域医療システム形成過程）との関りを中心に放射線技師養成の歴史的展開を明らかにしようとするものである。
