Outline of Research at the Start	急増する移民の子どもの教育機会を保障し、ホスト社会に包摂していくことが日本を含む先進諸国の喫緊の課題になっている。海外の研究では移民の学業不振の要因の一つとして親の学校関与の難しさが注目されているが、日本では移民の親の学校関与に関する研究は乏しく、政策も進んでいない。本研究は、日本における移民の親の学校関与の状況とその背後にあるメカニズムを解明し、海外の事例を参照しながら、移民の親の主体的な学校関与を支える包摂的な受け入れ文脈を提起する。①日本の移民散在地域と集住地域におけるステイクホルダーへのインタビュー、②アメリカ、スウェーデン、韓国における先進的事例のフィールドワークと文献調査を行う。
